About Me

I have been researching, writing, consulting and speaking about work-life and diversity issues since the early 1990’s. My drive has long been to create organizations where individuals can do their best work while honoring the many important priorities, work and non-work, in their lives. My work has encompassed extensive employee research - to understand what supports and challenges employees as they seek to integrate the many pieces of their lives - and the development of organizational strategies that create effective and engaging work cultures. In the fall of 2009 I launched Libra Consulting, an umbrella for my consulting and writing on work-life integration and gender equality. In addition to freelance consulting projects, my primary focus is researching and writing my first book Libra Tales: The Power of Couples Sharing Children, Work, Life and Love.
